Fit a calci plus tablets not only provide essential calcium, but also supply the most important vitamins for your puppy, adult or senior dog. Calcium (together with phosphorus) plays a vital role in your dog’s bone development (maximum bone density) and the development of strong, healthy teeth. Furthermore, calcium is important for proper blood clotting, muscle contraction and enzyme function. Adequate intake reduces muscle spasms and supports nervous system function. Calcium reduces allergic reactions and promotes the neutralisation of acid formation resulting from the intake of animal protein. It is well known that calcium aids the absorption of vitamin B12 and iron. Apples contain carotene and pectin. Pectin alters the water content of the stool, increasing its viscosity, which means it can be used to treat both constipation and diarrhoea. Pectin also helps eliminate toxins from the body. Apples contain essential vitamins such as beta-carotene, vitamin C and B. Incorrect calcium intake can lead to vitamin D deficiency in young dogs and osteoporosis in adult and older dogs.

Dosage:
Puppies and young dogs: 80–100 mg/kg body weight/day. Pregnant and lactating bitches may be given 20–30% more than these amounts; for active sporting dogs and working dogs, this amount may even be doubled. To prevent overdose, limit to 4–6 weeks followed by a 2-week break.
